Energy From Waste
Waste-to-energy is the energy produced by gasifying wastes such as industrial, domestic, animal and forest wastes with different technologies and burning this produced gas in cogenerative biogas generators. Energy production from waste has many benefits such as being a sustainable energy source, ensuring waste disposal and, most importantly, preventing environmental pollution.
In fast growing economies like our country, wastes become a problem on their own. For example, daily waste production per person is approximately 1 kg. 30 million tons of waste must be disposed of annually in our country. Today, the most efficient way for waste to contribute to the economy is energy production. In this way, the ever-increasing energy demand will be met and environmental pollution will be minimized.
